Animation for Frans Hals exhibition in three musea

I have been commissioned to do music and sounddesign for an animation as part of an exhibition about the dutch painter Frans Hals. The exhibition is about one of his family portraits, which, after extensive research eventually turns out to be quite a bit larger then everybody thought at the time. For the music I was inspired by renaissance lute players and modern sounds. The animation is still secretive (go to the exhibition if you can, should be good!), but here are some stills and a soundbite. The exhibition starts in Toledo Museum of Art (Toledo USA), but will also be in the Koninklijke Musea voor Schone Kunsten (Brussels) and Fondation Custodia – Collection Frits Lugt (France).
